On the Malaysian island of Penang, Antonio Graceffo meets Grand Master Anbananthan, a teacher of the Indian martial art of Silambam. Silambam is an Indian stick fighting art which originated among Tamil people in the South of India. The art is thought to be as much as 5,000 years old. In India the art has mutated and absorbed elements from a number of outside sources. Today, Penang has become one of the last remaining homes of the pure, original art.
