If you build serious Savate federation, don't say this stick fighting isn't part of savate competing activities. Canne de combat is a sport I think in some ways more atractive and unique than french boxing. It is a magnet which can attract many new federations and many new competitors and certainly is one of the main weapons of savate sport which will play on contrary to promotion with integral dresses the main role in future. And this French championships 2008 speaks for itself.
