THIS TIME FOR REAL :)

History was made on this day 25th August 2010 by Carl EMERY by finalising the last agreement of two executives of the WKA, Klaus NONNEMACHER and Zuzana VALUCHOVA in Switzerland

Kickboxing history was made on this day 25th August 2010 and it wasn't in Thailand, Holland or even Japan - the location up in the picturesque alps of Switzerland that's where a world kickboxing forum was born. The venture is the brainchild of Swiss sports personality and former full-contact world champion Mr Carl Emery.
Emery's dream is not to unite all kickboxing sanction bodies but at least have some common ground and unanimity on important issues - Health and safety, an independent world-wide fighter data base similar to boxrec and of-course leading to Olympic recognition the goal of many. This would be possible with an umbrella group - The World Kickboxing Forum which all kickboxing heads sign-up to without conflicting on any other groups.
Well, this historical meeting will now take place and sanctioned by most if not all the major kickboxing groups in the world. Now Emery's dream is a reality when all the kickboxing powerhouses come together on the 20th and 21st November 2010 in Geneva, Switzerland for the first time ever.
Several top executives of the following federations have already confirmed their participation:
IAKSA, ISKA,WAKO, WKA, IKF, WPKA, WTKA, WKN, WFC and WKF
Congratulations to Mr Carl Emery - no doubt the rest of the world kickboxing groups will surely follow.
