Jogo do Pau - Portugal traditional stick fighting

Savate friends from Portugal could tell us more about their traditional both handed stick fighting. But till then, German TV documentary is enough to satisfy our hunger. Jogo do Pau could be additional discipline to French Baton and cooperation would be fantastic.

Hi Jogo do Pau, Silambam and Baton shouldn't be one sport but should have one competition ground, to promote their disciplines.

The same should be with kali and canne de combat.

But competition ground shows many things, and we have to discover ancient fight again in praxis.

I agree that what we should do is each martial art keep its own ways but organize open tournaments with equal rules so that fighters from jogo do pau, baton, staff, sagine, bastone siciliano, etc... could compete amoung themselves.
The same for savate, kick-boxing, karate, wushu,etc...
And also for eskrima, juego del palo canario, la canne,...
