Minoan boxing - 2500 b.c. - 1700 b.c. Crete island, Greece

On a 4500 years years old fresco painting we see two young boxers. Special thing that attracts us, is well protected (stronger) back hand "bras arier". Leading hand is without protection, because it is not so strong and its use is probably meant for grappling and parry. We can see interesting definition of sport fighting through safety equipment. That kind of rules in martial arts today we don't see. But maybe it would be useful to discover how practical these fighting techniques were at that time.
