What is your opinion about FIS, votes (General Assembly) and Canne de Combat discipline? Should countries which don't practice second competitive savate sport called Canne de Combat have on General Assembly more than 1 voice? This (only 10 countries) is certainly - ignorance to our German organiser of Canne de Combat WC 2008 Gerhard Schmitt. It is funny that most European FIS members like Serbia, Croatia, Spain, Portugal, Russia, Poland, Finland, Sweden, Switzerland and then outside Europe - USA, Brasil, Japan...
How should FIS regulate activities of its ˝very busy˝ members, which ignore their normal competitive duties? Instead of regular Savate tournaments we see some members competing in professional fighting systems and other fighting disciplines - most of them in Kickboxing WAKO, some of them in Muay Thai IFMA, then also in AIBA - English boxing, and minority in IWUF Wu-shu Sanda - kung fu. Should FIS forbid competitions of its registered members in all other fighting systems, until they respect their own disciplines and then later open its doors again?
And please don't say for Canne de combat - "oh those sticks again"...
